MVI AudioVisual Software Suite 12.0
After months of development and fine-tuning, we can finally release MVI AudioVisual Suite 12.0. It marks the start of many new possibilities, applications and partners. With 12, we bring DelegateUI to any third-party (touch) panel based on Android and Windows or iPads! It means you can apply DelegateUI as electronic nameplate, delegate station, in retractable monitors and more.
At the same time, we expand the compatibility of DelegateUI to all supported conference systems and models from Televic, Audio-Technica, Shure, Bosch and others.
But it’s not just DelegateUI: we have a new template editor, a new simulator and many more other bigger or smaller additions and improvements.

DelegateUI
In release 12.0 we introduce the possibility to pair our EasyConf Control application to a conference system microphone. Technically, DelegateUI is ‘just that’. However, it creates many new possibilities:
- It effortlessly turns any conference microphone, even the most basic models, into a multimedia delegate station, with electronic voting and video
- It allows adding an electronic nameplate to any conference room, regardless of the used conference system

New template editor for synoptics
We’re excited to announce our new template editor for synoptics. We started from scratch and added important features like zooming and smooth undo/redo editing. The new template editor can be found in the EasyConf Portal. It’s completely web-based, allowing you to open multiple templates in different tabs. Copy/paste between tabs or through Teamviewer is supported too.
While the template editor is a huge project, we started by supporting all components required to build synoptic layouts. Only seats, cameras and icons can be edited now. In upcoming releases, we will work on the addition of all other components and their properties. It means the old template editor is still in use and maintained too.
But there is more
We introduce a new concept to be able to switch synoptic room layouts with the click of a button! This is done through the new component called Synoptic Area and its ease of use is demonstrated in our updated set of templates that come along with release 12.0!
Other new features
All other features, improvements and bug fixes can be found in the release notes that come along with the release zip file on our website. Some highlights:
- Our new portal (since release 11.1) is now translatable, we added some languages already (Dutch, German, French, Italian)
- Many improvements in the Meeting preparation in the portal
- Many improvements in the new reporter in the portal
- New integration with Taiden based on their UDP protocol
- All new EasyConf Simulator: a handy tool for simulating a conference system during demos or while designing templates
